Dear Followers: Please follow my new blog!

Hello dedicated, dear followers,

Thanks to you all for sticking with me. I actually deleted this blog long ago so I was amazed when I saw that I still have 70 followers. You are all amazing and beautiful!

My new blog is thehealthyhappyvegan.blogspot.com. I created this blog to reflect the healthy new me and to follow my adventures along the way. I am planning a fruity banana island adventure soon so I hope you will join me and see what happens!

Weigh-in... :)

Yesterday concluded my 4th week on the Healthy Skinny Girl Diet.

When I started this diet, I weighed 132, BMI 20.07.

Today, I weighed in at 126, BMI 19.16.

I lost 2 pounds over the past week, 6 pounds total over 4 weeks. This may not seem like a lot of weight loss to some of you, but 1) I don't have a lot to lose and 2) I know that I've lost this weight in a HEALTHY way, which makes me feel so good!

Don't give up on being thin. Don't give up of your health, either.

This was my best week so far! I was under in calories and over in exercise. I hope it shows on the scale tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Valentine's Day, Healthy Skinny Girl Diet, & Karlie Kloss :)

I'm so excited for Valentine's day!! So far the plan is: my lovely boyfriend and I are going to go to Red Lobster (because I haven't been there in forever and it sounds SO GOOD) so I'll have to eat sparingly before dinner because Red Lobster is extremely calorie heavy!! Then we're going to go see a FREE showing of Amadeus at the Playhouse. My friend Kendra is playing the opera singer who has an affair with Mozart, so that's how we're getting in for free! Then, we'll head back to my dorm room, and perform a love ritual (that may sound a little foreign to some of you, but it's just a lighting of candles and incense and reciting words that have great meaning to us). AND I'm super happy because he's going to spend the night even though he lives an hour and a half away! He's missing his first class on Wednesday for me. Such a sweetie. <3

Today is the last day of my 4th week of the Healthy Skinny Girl Diet! I'm in LOVE with this diet. I weigh in tomorrow but I lost 4 pounds in the first 3 weeks which may not seem like a lot, but I don't need to lose a lot (last time I weighed in my BMI came to 19.46). My whole focus has been on being healthier so I can look better and feel better, and I believe that I have achieved that. Also, I am going to stick with it! I never feel deprived and always feel great. It's a perfect fit for me. Here's to another 4 weeks of skinny but healthy :)

One of my new favorite thinspirations is the new Victoria's Secret Angel, Karlie Kloss. All the photos above are of her. She's absolutely lovely, and she's living my dream.

Some other random updates: My boyfriend and I signed the lease to our first house on Friday! Also, the fashion show I'm walking in on March 25th is coming up quick! Life is so exciting :)

There is NOTHING more inspiring than fashion. Karlie Kloss is particularly fantastic (top three photos). I think I may have found a new favorite!!

The HSGD went pretty well this week. I still went over my weekly calories but I went over in exercise, as usual. So far I've been losing weight so we'll see what tomorrow brings!!

EXCITING NEWS!! My fiance and I found a house that we really like. We are signing the lease on Friday!! We'll be sharing the house with a close friend. It's perfect because it's right in between the university and downtown. The lease starts this summer and I can't wait. I can kiss this long-distance relationship with my boyfriend goodbye :)

Hey girls!!!!!

I am super happy. Today I weighed in at 126.5. This is 5.5 pounds less than my highest weight (which I reached my first semester in college) and 3.5 pounds less than when I started the Healthy Skinny Girl diet 2 weeks ago. I didn't think weight loss like this on this diet could be possible, but it is. Don't ever think you have to starve yourself in order to lose weight. You can do it the healthy way! It may take longer, but it will last and you will feel so much better. I can't even tell you how amazing I feel eating unlimited fruits and veggies and simply limiting everything else. I checked back on myfitnesspal to see how many calories I actually ate during last week (including fruits, veggies, everything) in order to lose 3 pounds:

Mon: 1559
Tues: 1293
Wed: 2401
Thurs: 1427
Fri: 1491
Sat: 1356
Sun: 1401

That was my intake for last week. Never once did I go under 1200 calories, and I still lost 3 pounds in a week. I wasn't even heavy when I started this, at a BMI of 19.76. Think, if you are overweight or simply want to lose those last few pounds like me, you can do it on this diet, in a healthy, reasonable way. Just keep track. Eat high volume foods. Exercise 3 days a week. And you're golden.

Overall, I am happy with this diet, even if the weight loss is slow. I'm interested to see what I will weigh in at tomorrow (I'm hoping for a loss, even the tiniest!). I don't feel deprived at all on this diet, being able to eat as many fruits and veggies as I want as well as enjoy my favorite foods! I do regret going over my calories this week, but every week, every day I recommit myself to this. Again, I was over in exercise for the week, which is easy to do with my three ballet classes a week. I still feel like I want to stick with this diet long term, because it makes so much sense to me, health and fitness wise.
