3 POUNDS LOST IN 1 WEEK ON HSGD :)

Hey girls!!!!!

I am super happy. Today I weighed in at 126.5. This is 5.5 pounds less than my highest weight (which I reached my first semester in college) and 3.5 pounds less than when I started the Healthy Skinny Girl diet 2 weeks ago. I didn't think weight loss like this on this diet could be possible, but it is. Don't ever think you have to starve yourself in order to lose weight. You can do it the healthy way! It may take longer, but it will last and you will feel so much better. I can't even tell you how amazing I feel eating unlimited fruits and veggies and simply limiting everything else. I checked back on myfitnesspal to see how many calories I actually ate during last week (including fruits, veggies, everything) in order to lose 3 pounds:

Mon: 1559
Tues: 1293
Wed: 2401
Thurs: 1427
Fri: 1491
Sat: 1356
Sun: 1401

That was my intake for last week. Never once did I go under 1200 calories, and I still lost 3 pounds in a week. I wasn't even heavy when I started this, at a BMI of 19.76. Think, if you are overweight or simply want to lose those last few pounds like me, you can do it on this diet, in a healthy, reasonable way. Just keep track. Eat high volume foods. Exercise 3 days a week. And you're golden.

Peace ladies. More later. :)

Cardio 2: 1 hour ballet/30 mins

Cardio 3: 1 hour ballet/30 mins

Weekly cardio: 3 hours/1.5 hours

Overall, I am happy with this diet, even if the weight loss is slow. I'm interested to see what I will weigh in at tomorrow (I'm hoping for a loss, even the tiniest!). I don't feel deprived at all on this diet, being able to eat as many fruits and veggies as I want as well as enjoy my favorite foods! I do regret going over my calories this week, but every week, every day I recommit myself to this. Again, I was over in exercise for the week, which is easy to do with my three ballet classes a week. I still feel like I want to stick with this diet long term, because it makes so much sense to me, health and fitness wise.

Weigh-in tomorrow. Cross your fingers for me!!

The Reason

The reason to:

#1 Eat more fruits and veggies.
#2 Be a vegetarian.
#3 Don't eat fast food (often, at least).

Why does it seem like a lot Britons have really messed up eating habits? I feel like I've watched so many documentaries on anorexia/bulimia coming out of Britain. This is a different kind of disorder, where a person chooses only one or a few foods to eat an excludes everything else. I found this article to be so disturbing, and even more disturbing is that the mom thought starving her daughter would help?? Oh yes, just encourage a different type of disorder! I can think of much more logical options for helping her daughter, like getting her treatment. But I guess a lot of people don't see this as an eating disorder yet. How weird, since it involves food, and it's extreme. That sounds like a disorder to me.

That's my little rant on this article.

HSGD Day 8: 900, Weekly Weigh-in & New Goal :)

Weight: 129.5

.5 pounds lost so far!!

BMI: 19.69

Bust: 33.5

Waist: 24.5

Hips: 35

Lost .5 inches!

Waist-to-hip ratio: .7

Mon 23: 791/900

Cardio 1: 1 hour ballet/30 mins

The weigh-in today revealed some small victories. I lost a little weight and lost half an inch off of my hips. Although I did very well last week and I'm glad I reaped some results, I need a new goal this week to make sure that I do better, and lose more. My goal is going to be under my calorie limit every day this week. I know I can do it, because I can and will look like her:

Have a great week, ladies!

Cardio 2: 1 hour ballet + 10 min yoga/30 mins

Cardio 3: 1 hour ballet/30 mins

Weekly cardio total: 220/90

I am so happy that I decided to include a weekly calorie total and a weekly cardio total, because I feel so much better about the days I went a little over in calories now. The days I went under evened it out so that I did almost perfect, going over by only a calorie! This coupled with going over in exercise by 2 hours excites me for the weigh-in tomorrow. I hope I lost at least 1-3 pounds!!

Sorry I skimped on the last few days. My life has been so busy now that school has started up again. I'm taking 20 credits but I'm having so much fun! Nothing beats being a theater major :)

Here's to Week #2! I can do this!

I went a little bit over, but no regrets. I ate at a Habachi grill today, so it was very difficult but I split a meal with my boyfriend, so that helped. After that I only ate fruits and veggies the rest of the night. A little bit of bedtime yoga. Done. :)

I think my goal weight is reasonable. What do you think? I hope I can reach it on this diet.

Tomorrow is my first day of second semester. 20 credits. Wish me luck!

The Healthy Skinny Girl Diet Starts Tomorrow!! + Candice Swanepoel Thinspo :)

Brunette or blonde Candice? :)

My vote is for brunette. I think it's sexier!

Tomorrow I start on The Healthy Skinny Girl Diet. My plan is to record my intake, outtake, and net total every day and post everything here. My main goal for this diet is to lose any extra weight I may have, get in the best shape on my life, and build confidence for my first fashion runway show! As you can probably tell from the thinspo I choose, the Victoria's Secret models are my idols, because to me, they are the perfect picture of perfect health. They're not too skinny, they're curvy like women but they're in incredible shape. That is my ultimate goal - to look like them on the outside but also to rock that confidence that is so evident in them when they are walking the runway.

Tomorrow beings a new journey for me in health, fitness, and confidence!!

I'm doing this diet with a friend, so once we complete the 4 weeks we're going to decide if we want to continue with the HSGD or try something else. This is by far my favorite diet I've ever tried and I'm excited to do it again, this time more seriously. It just makes sense to me. You're eating a healthy amount of calories, plus lots of fruits, veggies, and exercise. I might make this a lifestyle change. Who knows? We'll see how the 4 weeks go!

Always,

REVAMPING THIS BLOG!! :)

Hello everyone!

I'm excited to be back. Suddenly, I have the passion for blogging again and sharing where I'm at with health, fitness, and fashion. I'm about to embark on a new journey, and I am determined and excited to see what will happen. I've decided that on Monday, I'll be starting the Healthy Skinny Girl Diet. For those of you who haven't heard of it, here's an outline below:I kind of tried this diet out for a few weeks with a couple of girls, but at the same time I was trying to stick to my myfitnesspal routine, and the two didn't flow together so well. Now, I just want to focus on this: calorie control and lots of fruits, veggies, and exercise. The reason I am so determined is because I have my first fashion show EVER on March 25th! If you want to learn more about the show, click here.

Also, if anyone wants to join me on this diet, feel free to comment and leave a link to your blog so I can follow along with you :) My reasons for this particular diet? I used to starve myself and I am done with that. Starving myself did make me thin but it also made me unhappy. I want to be vibrant, beautiful, and curvy like Alessandra above, not sad and too skinny like the couture models of our modern day. I want to be skinny, but I want to be happy, so I can model, feel beautiful, and live my life to the fullest, in every aspect of my life.

I know I have been an inconsistent blogger but until at least March 25th, I promise to be regular! On Monday I'll weigh in and I'll make it my goal to post my intake, outtake, and net total every day so we can all see what eating like a healthy, skinny girl looks like! If I don't lose any weight on this diet, fine. I know that I am already healthy and skinny but I would love, love, LOVE to see that magical number 122 again. Does anyone else have a magical number, that simply resonates with you and you don't know why?!

Anyway, I can't wait to get started! I hope some of my followers are still out there, and I hope to hear from you soon! Take care! xoxo
