I kind of feel as if I failed everyone who was cheering me on yesterday, but at the same time I don't feel that bad because of where I weighed in today. Yesterday totally turned into a binge day after my date with my friend. 2555 calories in one day. Yuck! And yet, I still weighed in at 117.8 this morning, still .2 pounds below my original goal to reach 118 by this coming Monday. So, for that reason, I don't feel too bad :) Also, I keep reminding myself that I'm going to have bad days, but "with practice comes perfection". I'm not giving up. I've already reached my goal for next Monday, and I will reach my UGW with time.

That's not bad. Your weight is going to fluctuate as it is. You're so close to still being within your goal weight range again. You'll get down to your UGW in not time. Don't worry about it. Just make today a good day. It's ok to enjoy yourself once in a while and have more calories than normal. I wouldn't count that as a failure as long as you enjoyed yourself.

ReplyDeleteThe odd high net intake day isn't going to have that much effect, it's probably a good shock to the old metabolism. Hopefully you made the most of it and had a good time with your friend? Very pleased to hear you are still on track, despite it!
